Our key experts engaged in the comprehensive review and update of Uganda's National Trade Policy, developed the Trade Policy Implementation and Development Plan, and the National Export Development Strategy (NEDS).
Scope of Work
- Legal and policy analysis of Uganda's trade legislation and institutional framework
- Alignment of national trade instruments with EAC, COMESA, AfCFTA, and WTO obligations
- Nationwide multi-stakeholder consultations with government agencies, private sector actors, civil society, and development partners
- Development of implementation roadmaps, institutional mandates, and monitoring frameworks
- Facilitation of national validation workshops leading to formal adoption of the revised policies
